Is JVP Anti Semitic?

An organization dedicated to making sure that Jews can never self-determine is pretty bad, but allies with anyone and anything that will promote your agenda are worse. JVP has undermined the crimes against a kosher market in Paris and disrupted a vote to commemorate the liberation of Auschwitz.

Sometimes I find it funny that I need to explain why an organization that unconditionally hates and criticizes the only Jewish State is clearly Anti Semitic. And why when someone puts the word “Jewish” in their title, does not prevent them from being  Antisemites or self-haters.

This absolutely extreme organization called Jewish Voice for Peace is obsessed with causing as much damage to Israel as possible, and they are not particularly concerned about how many Jewish victims it involves.

I question whether this organization is really Jewish, but I can positively confirm that they are definitely not promoting any kind of peace. They are more focused on the destruction of Israel, or as they like to call it, “the end of the Occupation.” What does “ending the Occupation” means? That we would simply leave up in the air.

But I understand that sometimes I need to spell out pretty obvious things so as not to leave any doubt. So here’s my clearest explanation of why an aggressive Super Anti-Zionist organization is Anti-Semitic or self-hating.

So the definition of Zionism is the Jews’ right to create a home in their Ancestral land. The definition does not come with borders or rules, just the need to create a home somewhere in that region.

Anti-Zionism means that the Jews, who are at least one of the indigenous people of that region, do not deserve to have autonomy in their original land at all to call their own. That, by definition, is Anti-Jewish.

Now you are probably saying many Anti-Zionist organizations just want the two-state solution where Palestinians can be left alone to do their own thing. This is not really the definition of Anti-Zionism, but even if you go with that, JVP clearly supports movements and people that want to replace the entire Jewish land with an Arab Palestinian. They clearly chant, “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” in every protest. They are only vague about how they are planning to remove all the Jews. But I think we can make some reasonable conclusions.

Now even by a skewed definition of simply defining antisemitism as crimes against Diaspora Jews, JVP members have been known to undermine crimes against Jews like the murders in the Kosher market in Paris. For example this text in their blog where they ignore the antisemitism and highlighting Islamophobia instead. Just to be clear, Islamophobia is bad, and Muslims’ rights must be protected; but while discussing a crime against a Jew, this is the equivalent of the all lives matter arguments when we talk about crimes against black people.

In 2015, the New York branch of JVP joined other anti-Semitic groups to disrupt and protest a vote on commemorating the liberation of Auschwitz under the pretense of being Pro-Palestinian groups. I wonder if the liberation of Auschwitz has anything to do with the Palestinians. After the antisemitic tantrum of JVP and their friends, the Jewish councilman’s, David G. Greenfeld made a speech denouncing the JVP for what it really is.

JVP called for a tour in the US with the inciter Bassem Tamimi, an “activist” who had taught children to throw rocks against the Jews and spread lies about organ harvest over Palestinian children. By letting him spread his lies, JVP undermines the credibility of the Jewish State and incites people against Israel.

I don’t know how to make it more clear than that. The JVP is not only antisemitic, but an active enemy of the Jewish People, beyond mere self-hate and actively trying to destroy us by promoting antisemitism.
